Cinematic Portraiture Workshop at the Octagon House in Farmington, Maine

Step into the timeless beauty of the Octagon House in Farmington, Maine, for a hands-on workshop dedicated to cinematic portraiture. Whether you're just beginning your creative journey or looking to refine your craft, this experience will immerse you in the art of light, composition, and capturing authentic moments.

Explore the philosophy behind creating compelling work and discover fresh approaches to bring your vision to life. With opportunities to photograph models inside this unique venue and connect with like-minded photographers, this workshop is a blend of learning, creativity, and community.

My photography has been shown galleries in the United States and abroad, and I’m currently working on my first book, To Be Honest And Dreaming, with the Tokyo-based publisher Ephemere. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training with several internationally-know master photographers, learning techniques and approaches that have profoundly influenced my work. While I’m still on my own journey, I’m eager to share this knowledge, along with the lessons and insights I’ve gained, to help you grow in your craft.

To ensure a personalized and enriching experience, registration is limited to 6 participants. A follow-up Zoom session will provide an opportunity to review my editing process (in Lightroom), share insights, and engage in supportive group critique for the work created during the shoot. The goal is that participants leave the sessions with a new set of tools to advance their photography and build their artistic vision.

Please note that basic familiarity with your camera is required.
